The Women’s Ministry Task Force has found that organising part day lunch or morning tea get togethers to be highly beneficial. The aim is to get to know others in the local region, study God’s Word and discuss the challenges and needs of ministers’ wives. It is also a time to share experiences and to offer support and encouragement to each other.
These events are also a great way to welcome new wives to a Presbytery, strategically allow time out from daily ministry for self care and to establish formal and informal support networks for ongoing contact between wives.
